What's inside

  • 6 door signs (7.09″ × 9.53″) — Welcome to our classroom, Welcome to Room ___, Hello! We are glad you are here, Come in — great things happen here, plus 2 blank signs with writing lines, each one labeled so you can see your choices at a glance
  • The word WELCOME as 7 cut-out letters (3.49″ tall) — the same letters as our Bulletin Board Letters, so the door matches the board inside
  • 12 pennants (3.31″ × 3.78″) — 7 lettered, 5 plain — with the two string holes drawn on, so you punch in the right place
  • 40 round name tags (3.27″ across) with 5 blanks for a student who joins mid-year
  • A teacher name plate and a room number plate (7.24″ × 2.44″), plus room numbers 0–9 to cut out
  • A "how to print, cut & hang" page with a supply list, and three door layout diagrams
  • 4 editable PowerPoint files — 30 slides, every name already typed in · 7 transparent PNG letters for slides or digital displays · an ink-saver file · US Letter and A4 separately

What teachers do with it

Written from the jobs this actually gets used for, not from a feature list.

01

Put the door up in one afternoon. A page of three door layouts — narrow door, wide door, bulletin board — shows where each piece goes before you stick anything down.

02

Cut without measuring. Every piece has a dashed cut line 4 mm outside the artwork, so a wobble never touches the design.

03

Spend paper instead of ink. The ink-saver file is all 30 pages as outlines — print onto colored card stock and the color comes from the paper.

04

Type the names once. Every name is already typed into the PowerPoint files. No empty "Type here" boxes to hunt down.

05

Print on Letter or A4 without shrinking anything. Two separate files, same physical size in both.

One purchase, one classroom

Home-school included, every year you teach. Extra licenses for a team or a grade level are priced below rather than hidden.

Type: Poppins (SIL Open Font License 1.1) for text and Chewy by Font Diner (Apache License 2.0) for the display letters and numbers. Both licenses ship with the download.

The specifics

Pages

30 printed pages per paper size, plus 30 slides across 4 PowerPoint files. Every count on this page is read from the built file, not typed by hand.

Fits a real door

Signs are sized for a standard classroom door with the window and the handle left clear — nothing lands where a hand goes.

Cutting

A fine gray cut line offset 3 mm from every piece, with real spacing between neighbors so a paper cutter can follow it.

Type

Poppins, open-license and genuinely embedded in the editable files, so a long name shrinks neatly instead of breaking the layout.

Equipment

Printer, paper cutter or scissors, laminator if you like. No craft-cutting machine — not now, not later.

Reviewed

Read by an experienced classroom teacher before release: readability, usability, age-appropriateness, instructions, file organization.

Before you buy

Will this fit a fire door with a window?

Yes. The signs are sized for a standard classroom door and the layout leaves the vision panel and the handle clear, which is usually what the fire officer asks about.

How do I hang the bunting?

Punch the two marked holes and thread string or twine — the marks are printed on the pennant, not guessed. Tape works too; the kit includes a page on both.

Can I use it on a wall instead?

That is exactly what the six signs are for. Door, wall or window — same kit, and it still matches the board and the desks inside.
